Onion Soup Pot Roast | |

Ingredients: |

2 1/2 - 3 lbs. first cut brisket 1/2 - 1 lb. carrots, sliced 1 envelope onion soup mix |

Method:

In a large pot, put in about 2 inches of water. Bring to a boil. When boiling, add the soup mix. After the mix is dissolved, add the brisket. Check to see that there is enough water to just cover the meat. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer slowly 2 hours, then take out meat and slice it. Put the meat back in the pot and add in the sliced carrots. Cook for another 1/2 to 1 hour until meat is tender. |
