Cornflake Chicken
From the Kitchen of Henny Diamond

Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
3 lbs. chicken parts
1 1/2 c. packaged Kellogg's cornflake crumbs
1/4-1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
Method:
In a pie plate beat egg. Wash chicken and pat dry. Dip chicken into egg mixture and coat with cornflake crumbs mixed with garlic powder. Place a single layer on foil-lined baking pans; do not crowd. Bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes. Serves 6. Fried chicken taste without added fat.

When she was young, Henny's grandaughter, Jillian, innocently dubbed this recipe: "Jillian's Favorite Chicken."
